How to hang a Custom Neon® sign?
Hanging your new neon light sign is surprisingly easy. To hang the sign, you'll need one of our Sign Hanging kits, or you can also do it yourself with hardware store items:
- Sign Hanging Kit - View and download our Sign Hanging Kit Instructions or watch our video demo above.
- Fishing wire - We recommend using heavy-duty wire and a fisherman's knot.
- Rope - We recommend securely knotting the rope.
- Heavy duty removable hooks - We recommend using several removable hooks to hold up to 3-6kg.

How to hang a Custom Neon® sign on an arch?
Temporary Installation: Cable ties work exceptionally well for attaching a Custom Neon sign to an arch. Strong fishing line is great for temporary fitting and is the material we most often see used to temporarily hang Custom Neon signs from the top of an archway.
Permanent Installation: You can request additional or specifically placed pre-drilled holes on the acrylic backing of your sign, along with custom hole sizing to suit the archway installation.
These requests should be made when the sign is ordered, as the holes cannot be drilled or changed once the sign has been put into production. The sign will be delivered with a wall mounting kit and mounting pins if holes are requested. We also offer mounting kits in different colours.

Can I hang my Custom Neon® sign outdoors?
If you intend to use your new Custom Neon sign outside or anywhere where it might get wet, please order a Custom Neon Outdoor Sign. Our outdoor signage range comes with an IP67 waterproof rating. An IP rating is a certification proving a product meets a certain standard of water and dustproofing/resistance. IP67 products are protected from contact with harmful dust and protected from immersion in water with a depth of up to 3.3 feet (1 meter) for up to 30 mins. They are not for underwater use.
Our standard interior signs can be used out of doors for a short period during fair weather. They are not made to withstand rain, snow, exposure to high heat or humidity, or contact with liquids of any sort.
Do LED neon signs use a lot of electricity?
LED neon signs have a low power usage with an input voltage of 24V/120V.
