How to Hang a Custom Neon® Sign on an Arch

The Lookout commissioned us to make several LED neon lights specifically designed to be hung on an archway. These were used as a photo booth for a Melbourne Cup Day event. They mounted the signs to a brightly coloured archway embellished with faux greenery using clear cable ties, holding the sign tightly to the arch. With one larger archway placed behind a smaller one, it created the perfect backdrop for photos at this celebrated event!

We made a neon light of the venue's name in bright orange, another of the event's drink of the day in lemon yellow, and finally, a gorgeous blue wayfinding sign to light up the venue's deck area as it overlooks the ocean.

Party with Lenzo commissioned Custom Neon to create a stunning white ‘Hey Baby’ neon sign, which they used to illuminate a baby shower they threw for one of their clients! They hung this neon sign for a hot pink archway using heavy-duty clear fishing wire, making it look as if it’s floating!

Temporary Installation: Cable ties work exceptionally well for attaching a Custom Neon sign to an arch. Strong fishing line is great for temporary fitting and is the material we most often see used to temporarily hang Custom Neon signs from the top of an archway.

Permanent Installation: You can request additional or specifically placed pre-drilled holes on the acrylic backing of your sign, along with custom hole sizing to suit the archway installation. These requests should be made when the sign is ordered, as the holes cannot be drilled or changed once the sign has been put into production. The sign will be delivered with a wall mounting kit and mounting pins if holes are requested. We also offer mounting kits in different colours.
