One detail worth knowing: 8 of our 18 colours appear white when switched off, while 10 show their colour even when the sign is off.

Yes. Whites, yellows, and oranges tend to appear brightest to the eye, while deeper shades like purple and dark blue give a moodier, more ambient glow. Neither is better; it depends on whether you want the sign to light up the room or set a tone within it. Our team can advise if you're weighing up two shades.

Every standard sign comes with a free remote and dimmer offering 10 brightness settings, so you can run it bold and bright for evening trade and soften it during the day, or dial it down for an intimate setting. Our RGB colour-changing signs can also be dimmed using the remote. Our Dynamic Neon™ signs are not dimmable, but the more than 100 colour combinations and effects they provide offer a huge range of color/effect pairings that will not require dimming.

Absolutely. Many of our favourite designs combine two or more colours, say, white script with a pink accent, or a logo reproduced in full brand colours. If you want the flexibility to change colours over time, our Dynamic Neon™ and RGB colour changing signs offer the most variety in terms of colour and special effects.

The best business colours are bright, bold, and easy to read at a distance. Strong contrast with the background matters more than the specific shade: a white or yellow sign pops against a dark wall, while deep blue or red stands out on a light one.
